Patricia Ann Esparza Nurse; Dec. 7, 2012

Loving wife and mother, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at her home in Madison.

Mrs. Nurse was 79 years of age and a native of Arkansas City, Kan.

Visitation was at Madison Chapel funeral Home in Madison, on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass was held at St John’s Catholic Church on Hughes Road in Madison on Monday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Memory Gardens in Madison.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Phillip S. Nurse; daughters Light Nakagawa of Hawaii, Karen Robinson of Mississippi, Carol Fox of Harvest, Sally Walters of Houston, Texas; sons Thomas Nurse of Mississippi, and Alex Nurse of Chatworth Calif.; sisters Nellie Rodriguez of Omaha, Neb., Genevieve Orozco of Topeka Kan., Louise Armenta of Kansas City Kan., Joann Stek of San Angelo Calif.; and brothers Charles Esparza of Corydon, Ind. and Jessie Esparza of Kansas City Kan. Grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 4.

Mrs. Nurse is preceded by her parents , two brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of St. John’s Catholic church and a faithful daughter of Christ.
