Rilla Steelman; Jan. 10, 2013

Rilla Steelman passed away at her home on Jan. 10, 2013 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by parents, Annie & Alvis Sanderson; brother, Sonny Sanderson; and loving sister, Bett Harbin all of Monrovia.

Rilla will be greatly missed and loved by her son, Dewayne Steelman; grandson, Jason Steelman (Christy); great-granddaughter, Chelsea; special niece, Jan Lister; sweet friend, Austin Key; sister, Evelyn Smith; and sister-in-law, Reba Sanderson.

Rilla worked at Army Missile Command for 39 years and always loved to antique.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service followed at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Brother Stephen Spray officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or your favorite charity in her honor.
