The All State Jazz Band Festival was held in Montgomery January 23-25, 2014.
he All State Jazz Band Festival was held in Montgomery January 23-25, 2014. Students in bands from across the state are eligible to send in audition tapes.
There are two high school bands; Gold is the top band, Silver is the second band. There is only one Middle School band. The All State Jazz students have two days to rehearse with a nationally known director before performing in concert.
The following Madison City School Students were selected:
Discovery Middle School, Grey Vandeburg on Baritone Saxophone
Bob Jones High School Silver Band-Ben Keith on trombone
Bob Jones High School Gold Band-James Eaton on piano
Bob Jones High School Gold Band- Jeb Bushey on bass
