St. John’s plans blood drive

MADISON – American Red Cross urges residents to consider donating blood during October.

The Madison County Blood Donation Center, 1101 Washington St. in Huntsville will accept donors on Oct. 16-17 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Oct. 19, noon to 7 p.m.; Oct. 22-24, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Oct. 26, noon to 7 p.m.; and Oct. 29-31, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1055 Hughes Road in Madison will conduct a blood drive on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
