MADISON – Pam Honeycutt has been hired as Executive Director of Madison Chamber of Commerce.

“I look forward to continuing and further developing the chamber’s long tradition of providing exceptional value for businesses and the people of Madison,” Honeycutt said. “I am dedicated to enriching our community through greater connectivity, excellent customer service and outstanding execution.”

Honeycutt has worked for 20 years in the field of communications and has compiled experience in marketing, public relations and corporate communications. She has worked as a trainer in leadership and development and has coached numerous corporate executives in ‘C-Level’ (or executive level) communication and presentation skills.

“The board is thrilled to welcome Pam Honeycutt as the new Executive Director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce,” Mary Lynne Wright said. Wright, who works as president of Madison Hospital, serves as the chamber’s board president.

“We feel confident that her background and expertise will be instrumental in guiding the Madison chamber and taking it to the next level,” Wright said.

Honeycutt graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in management and a minor in industrial psychology.

Honeycutt currently lives in Huntsville, but “she is excited to be selling her existing home and moving to Madison to join our thriving community,” Wright said. Honeycutt has three step-children — Chase, Miranda and Lauren — and one child, Drew.

Earlier in 2016, Elaine Ballew resigned as executive director to accept a job with Alabama Media Group, parent company of al.com.

A meet-and-greet reception will welcome Honeycutt to the Madison chamber on April 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chamber office at 130 Park Square Lane in Hogan Family YMCA. The public is invited.
