MADISON – Sponsored by Madison Chamber of Commerce, the Business Expo and Kids Days will feature non-profit organizations, along with scores of local business that showcase their products and services.

“As a service to our non-profit members, we are offering free space in our non-profit room to enable these vendors to share their message with an audience of over 4,000 attendees,” chamber executive director Pam Honeycutt said.

Because of limited space at the expo, the chamber urges non-profit group to reserve booth space now. For a reservation, call 256-325-8317 or email lisa@madisonalchamber.com.

In addition, non-profit members can upgrade to the main exhibitor area for $325. Call the chamber for information.

The Business Expo & Kids Day stands as the Madison chamber’s signature event. The free, family-friendly event is scheduled for July 23 at Hogan Family YMCA in Madison from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 2016 expo theme is “Sci-Fi Saturday.” “Come out and sport your best alien, space or robot themes,” Honeycutt said.

“We will have over 60 booths representing the varied businesses in our area,” Honeycutt said. “Visit each booth and learn more about what each business or organization has to offer. Listen to live music while you stroll among the booths. Enjoy free hotdogs while they last.”

Children can enjoy free activities through the day. The youngsters can try face painting, take home balloons and play on inflatable amusements.

First-responders will open the HEMSI ambulance and fire truck from Madison Fire and Rescue Department for the children to explore. SARTEC will bring their crew of rescue dogs that have completed rigorous training.

Madison Chamber of Commerce is located inside Hogan Family YMCA at 130 Park Square Lane in Madison. To participate as a vendor at the business expo, call 256-325-8317 or visit madisonALchamber.com.
