MADISON – With her participation in several sports, Lyla MacKrell is quite an athlete.
Lyla enjoys flag football the most “because of nice friends,” she said. Soccer is next on her list “because I like to make goals and like to pass to others so they make goals.”
Basketball and T-ball are other games that Lyla has played and learned the basics of the sport. In a recent competition, Lyla placed seventh for first-grade girls at the Huntsville Hospital Fun Run in September.
A first-grader at Madison Elementary School, Lyla is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Pride Patrol. She sings in her church choir and regularly attends Sunday school class.
