In preparation for Connect 2017, the staff of Madison Publications wanted to help make Dr. Michelle Parker, the mother of Madison’s Family of the Year for 2017, feel extra special. Mallory Clemons, a Madison resident and LuLaRoe Consultant, offered to let Michelle pick from any of her inventory for the perfect dress. Local makeup artist, Kristin Weatherman, offered her services for a glamour makeover for the big night.

Michelle humbly accepted our offer with only one request, she wanted to bring her best friend, Dr. Emily McIntire, along for the experience to say thank you for nominating her family.

The staff of the Madison Chamber and Leigh Ann McGhee. Chairman of the Family of the Year Committee, also worked with us to help make the entire day and night special for the Parkers.

In our efforts to honor and bless Michelle, she blessed everyone else with her gracious spirit, thankful attitude and positive outlook on life.

The pictures just show a little bit of the fun that we had helping honor a very special woman!
