Police foundation unearths Halloween Bash on Oct. 27

MADISON – For the third frightening year, Madison Police Foundation will host their annual Halloween Bash that is open to the public. But beware — you must be at least 21 years old to attend.

The Halloween shenanigans will commence on Oct. 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Insanity Complex.

Party organizers hope that all guests will dress in costume for the full experience of Halloween. However, costumes are optional. A costume contest will identify the best designs for those who attend in masquerade.

Partygoers will enjoy live entertainment from the upbeat music of Groove. Guests will be eligible for door prizes. Local businesses and individuals have donated merchandise and service for raffles at the Halloween Bash.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served to guests. A cash bar will be available.

Sponsorships are available. A $300 sponsorship includes a table for eight guests and the opportunity to post advertising signage at the event. Organizers also will include the business or individual’s name on the sponsor banner that will hang on the stage during the event.

In addition, individuals can sponsor a police officer and one guest to attend the Halloween party for $40.

Tickets are $40 per person. All guests must have a ticket to enter.

Established in 2001, the non-profit Madison Police Foundation promotes business and citizen involvement in maintaining a safe community. As a link between the police and the public, the foundation provides support beyond the realm of the traditional resources allocated within the City of Madison budget.

As municipalities face increasing costs and diminishing budgets, the Madison Police Foundation helps officers and the department to bridge those tough financial gaps. The foundation works to fund activities that promote the welfare, image and safety of the City of Madison and its residents.
