Mill Creek faculty visits area neighborhoods handing out books

MADISON – Madison City Schools posted photos this week of the faculty at Mill Creek Elementary School visiting several neighborhoods zoned to their school to hand out books with snack and a good dose of cheer. The outreach is part of its “Read Around the Block” that promotes reading and helps foster better relationships with students and families. Fliers were distributed earlier that the delegation was coming. They loaded a school bus and walked with wagons filled with books and goodies.
