Pepsi Rock the South canceled for 2020

CULLMAN – Because of the threats and constraints from the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers have canceled the 2020 Pepsi Rock the South music festival.

“We are saddened that we cannot see our Rock the South friends and family this year, but we’re excited to bring the biggest party in the South back in 2021 – bigger and better than ever before,” spokesperson Jeri Willoughby said.

Rock the South 2021 will be held on June 4-5, 2021 in Cullman.

Originating in 2012, Pepsi Rock the South offered a way to give back to the greater Cullman community during rebuilding after the April 2011 tornado destruction.

Individuals who already purchased tickets for the canceled 2020 event can donate their refunds to local partners, including Cullman Caring for Kids, Community Food Bank of Central Alabama and mask donations to Cullman County Commission on Aging.

Ticket holders also have the option to automatically apply their ticket for Rock the South 2021.

During the festival’s run, many country artists have partied with fans in Cullman, including Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Alabama, Hank Williams Jr., Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town and Alan Jackson.
