“Take Back Alabama Town Hall” rallies crowd in Madison

MADISON – Over 100 citizens packed into Movement Church last Monday night for the Take Back Alabama Town Hall, an event that brought together faith, family, and freedom in a call to action for communities across the state.

Hosted by Moms for Liberty – Madison County, Movement Church, and the New Federalist Alliance, organizers said the event aimed to equip citizens to stand firm against growing threats to state sovereignty and traditional values. The evening opened with prayer and a discussion panel addressing how the Church, the Family, and the Republic— three vital institutions they say are under cultural and political attack.

“The sleeping giant has slumbered for too long,” said Pastor Seth Adgate, Senior Pastor at Movement Church. “We, the Church, have been called to be the watchmen on the wall, praying day and night, taking no rest. This town hall was the alarm. Wake up! It’s time to bring reformation to our communities.”

The panel was followed by a candid and engaging conversation between U.S. Senate candidate Jared Hudson and Phil Williams, host of the syndicated Right Side Radio. Rather than a prepared speech, Hudson participated in a back-and-forth dialogue that gave attendees a closer look at his personal journey—from Navy SEAL and law enforcement officer to outspoken Christian conservative seeking to serve Alabama in the U.S. Senate.

Hudson spoke openly about his faith, his love for country, and the conviction that compelled him to enter the political arena. His passion for protecting families and defending liberty was clear, and the audience responded with enthusiasm throughout.

“Jared reminded us that the fight for this nation isn’t just political — it’s spiritual,” said Emily Jones, Chair of Moms for Liberty – Madison County. “We were honored to host him and to hear his bold vision for Alabama and the country.”

The conversation touched on issues ranging from education and border security to federal overreach and the need for more principled leadership in Washington. Audience members also had the opportunity to ask direct questions, making for a meaningful and interactive experience.

“It was an honor to be part of an event that honored God and country,” said Phil Williams, who also livestreamed the event to hundreds more through Right Side Media’s platforms. “Moms for Liberty is a great partner in the cause for conservatism. Moderating the town hall with Jared Hudson was a perfect blend of everything our two organizations fight for daily. What a great night!”

Hudson later reflected on the event, saying, “Thank you for having me out. It was an honor to be there and be a part of it.”

Organizers praised Movement Church for stepping into the public square by hosting the event. “We’re incredibly grateful for their leadership and their willingness to bring Christ into conversations that affect every corner of our society,” said Jones.

Jones said the event not only highlighted urgent policy concerns but also underscored a deeper mission: to revive our faith, retake our freedoms, and restore the foundations of the state and nation. “For many attendees, it wasn’t just a town hall — it was a turning point,” she added.
