Third Thursdays on Main to kick off tomorrow in downtown Madison

MADISON – Main Street Madison (MSM) is bringing revamped Third Thursdays on Main to downtown Madison this summer.

Third Thursdays started as an initiative of downtown business owners to bring family fun, food trucks, and extended business hours to downtown in the summer months.

This year, the events will be organized by Main Street Madison and will bring increased fun and offerings. There will be live music, Tom’s Toy Chest games, a kid’s zone, a vendor alley, and an artist alley.

“We’re very excited to have a lot of local vendors that can kind of compliment what we already have downtown,” said MSM Executive Director Jen DeLessio.

Another new feature will be Sips of Summer. Inspired by the Wassail Fest wassail sampling, Sips of Summer will have vendors offering samples of summery drinks.

Third Thursdays will kick off June 19 at 5 p.m. and run through August. This year, vendors will be located in alleys off Main Street, and road closures are not anticipated for the event.
