Police Arrest Report The Madison Police Department reported the following arrests between July 14 and July 20. * Driving Under the Influence – 5, including one felony arrest; DUI becomes a felony upon the fourth arrest, after three previous DUI convictions * Burglary and Theft – 2 juveniles * Failure to Pay – 1 * Harassment and Disorderly Conduct – 1 * Harassment and Domestic Violence – 1 * Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2 felony arrests * Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – 1 * Possession of Marijuana – 1 * Violation of Probation – 4
Fire Incident Report The Madison Fire Department was not able to report incidents from last week. The fire department is in the process of installing new departmental software.
Building Permits The Madison Community Development Department issued 18 residential building permits between July 14 and July 20 for a total of $4,755.56. No commercial building permits were issued. There were 27 electrical permits issued for a total of $983. There were 10 gas permits issued for a total of $105. There were 12 mechanical permits issued for a total of $220. There were 14 plumbing permits issued for a total of $679. There were four home occupation permits issued for a total of $150. There was one miscellaneous permit issued for $200, one sign permit was issued for $25, three permits were issued for swimming pools for a total of $75 and there was one map permit issued for $1.
The grand total for all permits issued between July 14 and July 20 was 92, for a total of $7,193.56.
