Police Arrest Report The Madison Police Department reported the following arrests between July 21 and July 27. * Burglary – 2 (both were felony charges; one was a juvenile) * Criminal trespassing – 2 * Driving under the influence – 4 * Failure to appear – 3 * Failure to pay – 3 * Minor in possession of alcohol – 4 (2 were juveniles) * Possession marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia – 1 * Theft of property – 2 (includes one felony charge) * Violation of probation – 2
Fire Incident Report The Madison Fire Department was not able to report incidents from last week. The fire department is in the process of installing new departmental software. As soon as fire department personnel work out incident reporting problems, fire incident reports will again be published.
Building Permits The Madison Community Development Department issued 15 residential and commercial building permits between July 21 and July 27, for a total of $3,537.90. Commercial: * 8074 Madison Blvd. – $170.50 Residential: * 229 Pennsylvania Ave. – $7.20 * 409 Thoreau Spring – $384.29 * 302 Gaston Drive – $470.80 * 125 Heatherwood Drive – $30.24 * 102 Honor Way – $305.60 * 7627 Highway 72 West – $7.80 * 230 Pennsylvania Ave. – $254.13 * 205 Chantilly Lane – $313.88 * 239 Winfield Chase – $8.96 * 10036 Long Meadow – $265.81 * 1055 Long Meadow – $355.14 * 107 Drunell Court – $12.00 * 203 Boulton Court- $341.31 * 107 Michigan Court – $530.24.
There were 17 electrical permits issued for a total of $295. There were 15 gas permits issued for a total of $182.50. There were 17 mechanical permits issued for a total of $420. There were 14 plumbing permits issued for a total of $1,658. There were six home occupation permits issued for a total of $225. There were two miscellaneous permits issued for a total of $6.50, one sign permit was issued for $25, one permit was issued for a swimming pool for a total of $25 and there was one map permit issued for $1.
The grand total for all permits issued between July 21 and July 27 was 88, for a total of $6,374.90.
