Snow forecast now calling for 2-4 inches

The forecast for snow is taking shape, as meteorologists are now calling for 2-4 inches of snow beginning Tuesday night and lasting into the Wednesday morning hours.

Tuesday’s high is expected to be 45, with a low of 36.

Wednesday’s high is expected to be 40, with a low reaching 28 overnight.

With Wednesday’s temperature not expected to drop below freezing until the evening hours, the snow is likely to melt quickly.

Officials are not anticipating widespread travel problems Wednesday morning, although some elevated roads and county roads in higher elevations could ice over.
