Madison County Sheriff’s deputy suspended after burglary arrest

A Madison County Sheriff’s deputy faces charges of burglary and domestic violence.

Dennis Dominick Daversa was arrested Monday, May 16 after an incident on Century Street.

Daversa faces charges of third degree burglary and third degree domestic violence. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail on $2,800 bond.

Daversa was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

Investigators said the sheriff’s office will not comment further on the Huntsville Police Department investigation.
