Local artist returns from Nashville to perform Thursday

Carter Hamric will perform this Thursday, June 23 at 7:30p.m. at the Gazebo in historic downtown Madison with his full band.

The band plays a mixture of Hamric’s original music and country favorites to entertain the whole family. Hamric, a Huntsville native, plays regularly in Nashville venues such as The Tin Roof, 3rd & Lindsley and the Bluebird Cafe.

The weekly event is hosted by the Madison Arts Council. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free to the public. Families are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy the music. Concessions will be available.
