Street Festival a ‘success’

Artist Alley at the 2011 MSF.

The Madison Street Festival kicked off Saturday.

With more than 100 artists and craftsmen that lined the streets, the Festival was a great place to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces.

Non-profit groups and civic clubs use the festival as a fundraising outlet. It’s a great opportunity to not only learn about local organizations but to support their efforts.

Some of the individual activities this year included the Madison Rotary Club raffling off a football signed by Auburn Coach Gene Chizik.
