Nesin Therapy Services, Eagle Collision Center named finalists for Ethics in Business Awards

The Madison Chamber of Commerce is proud to acknowledge that two of its members were named finalists for the 2011 Torch Awards by the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama.

Nesin Therapy Services was a finalist in the Mid-Size Company Category (26-99 employees) while Eagle Collision Center was a finalist in the Small-Size Company Category (1- 25 employees).

The 14th annual awards ceremony was held on NoV. 17 at the Von Braun Center.

The BBB Torch Award honors businesses that demonstrate exceedingly high standards of behavior toward customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and communities; adherence to truthful and honorable advertising and sales practices; and, an earned reputation for noteworthy contributions to their industries and the communities in which they do business.

“Doing the right thing is not always easy in today’s business environment, I think these two Madison Chamber members are shining examples of how to mix good business practices with success” said Susie Masotti, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.  “We’re thrilled to see Nesin Therapy Services and Eagle Collision Center honored in such a prestigious way.”

Nesin Therapy Services, headquartered in Madison has been in business since 1987 and is owned and operated by Janet Nesin (founder) and her two daughters, Michelle Nesin and Janine Nesin.  A private, outpatient physical therapy practice, Nesin Therapy Services provides hands-on, one-on-one treatment.  Michelle Nesin currently serves as the president of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

Eagle Collision Center is also headquartered in Madison and is owned by Lori King- Taylor.  Eagle Collision is a full service auto collision repair center and already has an impressive array of awards, including Madison Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and US Chamber Small Business of the Year Blue Ribbon Award winner, among others.  Lorrie King-Taylor is a member of the Board of Directors of the Madison Chamber of Commerce and also owns Trinity Performance Solutions  providing, a premier provider of human performance training and organizational/personal development
