Three Patriots sign with colleges

Coach Jeff Bell said the three young men are “outstanding” and they played the game like it was supposed to be played.

Bob Jones High School held its seventh baseball signing of the year Tuesday, Jan 17.

Sean Leitstein signed with Tennesse Temple, Patrick Mullin signed with Calhoun Community College and Mason Throneberry also signed with Calhoun.

Coach Jeff Bell said the three young men are “outstanding” and they played the game like it was supposed to be played.

“I appreciate all the hard work they have done,” he said.

Leitstein is looking forward to a good year he will be playing center field for Tennessee Temple.

“I am thankful for the ability to play at the next level and I’m hoping to go further in life.”

Mullin will play the outfield position at Calhoun.

“I am looking forward to playing next season with a college, and I am thankful for the people who have been around me, they have allowed me to become the best I can be.”

Throneberry will be a pitcher for Calhoun.

“I am very excited about the opportunity and I already know a couple of guys on the team and I’m excited about how fast this opportunity
