Henry Leonard Persing; March 17, 2012

Henry Leonard “Lee” Persing of Madison passed away Saturday, March 17 at a local hospital.

He was 44.

Henry was a native of Baltimore, Md. and a resident of Madison County for over four years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Robbin Persing; one son, Brennan Zachary Persing; his mother, Antoinette Persing; his father, John Persing; three brothers, Phillip Persing, David Persing and Christopher Persing; and one sister, Kathleen Persing.

The family received friends Thursday, March 22 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Doug Simons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
