Early morning crash claims life in Madison

Fatal crash on Wall Triana Highway

A man lost his life after a crash on Wall Triana Highway in Madison.

Around 1:45 a.m. Madison Fire responded to a single car crash at the intersection of Wall Triana Highway and Patra Lane.

Upon arrival they found a black Nissan Altima had struck a utility pole killing the driver on impact.

According to Sgt. Steve Wilkerson of the Madison Police Department  it is unknown what caused the accident.

The drivers name was not released and he was not wearing a seat belt.
