Safia Memon requests courts permission to leave state

Safia Memon, mother of Discovery shooting suspect  Hammad Memon’s has asked the court to grant her permission to leave the state. She’s currently out on bond for a charge of hindering prosecution.

In a motion filed Wednesday, Safia Memon’s attorney asked the court to give Memon permission to attend her child’s soccer tournament in North Carolina later this month. The motion states that the prosecutor handling the case does not oppose this trip.
