Rocket City Mom and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center are partnering to present the expo from noon to 5 p.m.

“This free event will be unlike anything else in the Tennessee Valley,” Rocket City Mom editor Stephenie Walker said. “Highlighting independent schools, magnet programs, home-schooling resources, education-related business and more, the Learning Expo is an opportunity for parents to find all the information they need in one place in one afternoon.”

Parents and students alike can explore all local choices for education at the expo booths, set up under the Saturn V Rocket. Representatives from local independent schools and preschools will answer questions and give details about their curricula.

“A representative from Huntsville City Schools will also be on-hand to share information about the magnet and international baccalaureate programs,” Walker said.

“Parents will learn how to find the right educational experience for their children. You can find out about the admissions process, when to apply and what schools look for in potential students,” Walker said.

In addition, parents can determine an appropriate budget and receive information about scholarships and financial aid.

Rocket City Mom is accepting exhibition applications from businesses and organizations in the education field. “If you’re located in the Tennessee Valley, then we want you to be a part of this exciting opportunity to reach thousands of Rocket City parents,” Walker said.

To apply as an exhibitor, email to editor@rocketcitymom.com.

“There is no greater gift parents can bestow on their children than a great education,” Walker said.
