HARVEST – The North Alabama Radio Control Model Airplane Association (NARCA) will sponsor its annual open house on June 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The open house will be held at the club field at 1284 Carroll Road in Harvest. “The event is open for all American Modelers Association (AMA) members to come and enjoy the day flying and socializing,” club publicist Clifford W. Lanham said.

Anyone can attend; individuals are not required to be NARCA club members. “Come on out and meet our club members and learn to fly a radio control airplane,” Lanham said. Visitors will not pay fees for flying.

“You must be a member to fly a radio control plane at the club area, unless you’re a new member or a visitor guided by an AMA member,” he said.

For more information, call Lanham at 256-325-3775 or visit flynarca.com.
