West Madison to host outreach event on Aug. 1

MADISON – West Madison Elementary School at 4976 Wall Triana will host a community outreach event on Aug. 1 from 4 to 6 p.m.

“We’re inviting students from Bob Jones High School and Discovery Middle School to join our West Madison kids and parents,” Principal Dr. Daphne Jah said.

“Come out have a good time with us,” Jah said. “We’ll have music, the playground will be open and we will have hotdogs, chips, soft drinks and water.”

School supplies will be available free for pickup by families who need the financial break.

Retail store and individuals that want to contribute school supplies or food can call the West Madison office at 256-837-1189.
