Juvenile arrested in recent car burglaries

MADISON – Madison Police Department arrested a 16-year-old juvenile from Madison on Dec. 18 for recent car burglaries.

The juvenile was arrested on seven counts of breaking and entering an automobile and five counts of theft of property, third degree. Investigators determined the juvenile had entered seven unlocked cars and stolen small electronics, gift cards and cash overnight on Dec. 15.

The cars were parked at homes in the Oxford and Ashbury subdivision, off County Line Road in Limestone County. The 16-year-old was delivered to the custody of the Limestone County Juvenile Court.
