November 11, 1942 – January 24, 2014

Wayne T. Garrison, 71, of Madison, passed away Friday. Mr. Garrison was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Josephine Helling Garrison. He was a pilot in the U.S. Navy and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; daughters, Heather Garrison Wilson and Shanna Garrison Walker; brother, Dennis Garrison; six grandchildren; and step-mother-in-law, Margaret Broome.

Visitation was held on Monday January 27, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The funeral immediately followed at the church with Dr. Ron Madison and Dr. Dan Wilson officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Clearview Cancer Institute or Mt. Zion Baptist Building Fund.
