MADISON – Dylan Neal and Monday Sanderson have received 2014 scholarships from the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

Neal, a 2014 graduate of James Clemens High School, was actively involved in the fine arts department. He will attend the School of Art Institute of Chicago this fall.

Monday Sanderson, who graduated from Bob Jones High School, is interested in the environment and served as secretary of the Green Team. She will attend the University of North Alabama and major in education.

“Each year, the chamber participates in the awarding of several scholarships to deserving graduating seniors from Madison City Schools, including the Mayor’s Scholarship Awards,” chamber director Susie Masotti said. “The chamber is proud to award its own $1,000 scholarships to two deserving seniors.”

These scholarships are funded by chamber activities, including Connect 2014, and direct donations from Rep. Mac McCutcheon, Madison County Commission and L-3 Corporation.
