Military-to-Civilian workshop to benefit transitioning veterans

HUNTSVILLE – An upcoming one-day workshop is designed to help military personnel who are preparing to transition to the corporate workforce.

NMR Consulting will present the Military-to-Civilian (M2C) Transition Assistance Workshop on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Redstone Federal Credit Union headquarters, 220 Wynn Drive in Huntsville.

The workshop is free. Business professionals, active military personnel and veterans will present the sessions. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

Workshop organizers will assist participants in writing resumes, preparing for interviews and creating or revising an online profile for prospective employers to review.
