Karen Lourdes Marsh September 28, 2009 – October 9, 2014

Karen Lourdes Marsh, 5, of Madison, Alabama, died Thursday, Oct.ober 9. She drowned after unlocking a spare bedroom, exiting the window and climbing a fence to explore a neighbor’s pool.
Karen was born in Alexandria, Virginia, two months premature and moved to Madison when she was 1 years old. She attended First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mill Creek Elementary School.
She is survived by her parents, Dwight and Rica Marsh, and grandparents, Larry and Karen Marsh and Romulo Lapid.
A memorial service was held Saturday, October 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church officiated by Reverend Dr. Mark Mueller. The family received friends in Fellowship Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Children of the World (Philippines.)
Little Children of the World/Little Children of the Philippines started by rescuing ten street children and today we have over 600 sponsored children. Approximately 5,000 people are being touched through this ministry by sponsors and donors worldwide. However, there are still approximately 300 children waiting and praying for sponsorship.
