MADISON – Caleb Handley, a first-grader at Heritage Elementary School, consistently congratulates other players on a ‘good game.’ In fact, that positive outlook led to his receiving a good sportsmanship award.

Caleb has played three seasons of soccer at Hogan Family YMCA and most recently on the Blue Sharks team. For two seasons, he has played Upward Flag Football with First Baptist Church of Madison. Most recently, he played for the Panthers, coached by his father.

This month, Caleb will begin Upward Basketball at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He also takes golf lessons at Madison Golf Center and participated in his first baseball camp at Liberty Middle School this summer.

Football is Caleb’s favorite sport because he likes to play with his friends and enjoys scoring touchdowns. He also enjoys football when he’s watching and cheering for his Auburn Tigers.

Caleb’s parents are John and Brandi Handley. John works as a business financial manager for the Missile Defense Agency. Brandi’s job is human resources generalist at LogiCore Inc.
