American Legion members welcome residents to attend the Memorial Day ceremony on May 30. CONTRIBUTED

MADISON – American Legion Post 229 of Madison will conduct its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on May 30 at 11 a.m.

The event will be held at the Madison City Veteran Park, located at the corner of Front and Church streets in downtown Madison. Madison Community Band will perform live, instrumental music.

James Clemens High School JROTC Honor Guard will present the Colors. “Citizens of Madison, come out and join us,” Post Commander Carlos Woods said.
