MADISON – Braylon Buchanan likes the challenge of ‘field sports,’ namely soccer and football.

This year with Upward Football, Buchanan was a member of the Titans team. This fall, he will play with Madison Blaze for soccer.

In football, Braylon can handle the demands of quarterback, running back and wide receiver. In soccer, he plays striker, goalie and midfielder.

Soccer is his number one choice to play, because it was the first sport he ever tried. “He got into it quickly and wanted to learn more and more. He practices a lot because he loves it so much,” his mother Carmen Buchanan said.

Braylon is a third-grader at Mill Creek Elementary School. Braylon’s parents are Craig and Carmen Buchanan. Craig works as a realtor at Ben Porter Real Estate. Carmen is principal at Mill Creek.

Braylon’s big brother Taylor graduated from James Clemens High School in May and has enrolled at Calhoun Community College. The Buchanans moved to Madison to live in proximity of Madison City Schools.
