MADISON – Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is sponsoring a blood drive so residents can help save a life by giving the gift of blood.
Legacy Chapel’s Community Blood Drive will be conducted on Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Legacy Chapel’s address is 16 Hughes Road in Madison.
“We need your help,” spokesperson Shannon Lott said. “We need 30 donors. Just one donation can save three lives.”
“Please consider donating. Remember you can donate in honor or memory of someone, making your donation even more special,” Lott said.
Donors can sign up on Legacy Chapel’s website at legacychapel.com or Facebook/Legacy Chapel – a Funeral Home and Crematory.
Or, donors can use Express Pass Sign-Up to schedule a specific time by visiting redcrossblood.org/rcbmobile/drive/chooseDonationTime.jsp. Search for the zip code and date (35758 on Sept. 30).
Legacy Chapel has full range of services with traditional funerals, cremations, graveside, memorial services and pre-planning. “Our goal is to make each funeral as personalized as the life it celebrates,” Lott said.
For information, call 256-325-5013, 256-325-5011 for a death after hours, Mark Slaton, 256-698-0133 or Rhonda Slaton, 256-698-1031; email Mark@legacychapel.com, Rhonda@legacychapel.com or Shannon@legacychapel.com; or visit LegacyChapel.com and social media.
