Bob Jones Band, artists plan Thursday show

Instrumental musicians and art students will present the Winter Band Concert and Art Show at Bob Jones High School on Dec. 1. CONTRIBUTED

MADISON – Students will present the Bob Jones Winter Band Concert and Art Show on Dec. 1.
“Please join us for an evening celebrating our students and their accomplishments,” event coordinator and art teacher Robin Lakso said.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. to Zompa Auditorium. Students’ artwork will be on display in the lobby area of the auditorium.
Performances in the auditorium will begin at 6 p.m. when Bob Jones Jazz Band plays its renditions of jump-and-jive classics and more contemporary selections. The Percussion Ensemble will bring in the beat at 6:30 p.m.
During intermission from 7 to 7:30 p.m., a bake sale and silent auction will be held in the lobby. The finale performance of the evening will be the Christmas sounds and a few surprises by Bob Jones Concert Band at 7:30 p.m.
