Noah DeYoung remembers his double play in 2016

MADISON – Noah DeYoung divides his sports time between the baseball field and the basketball court.

With the A’s baseball team, Noah controls the pitcher’s mound and keeps opponents at bay by covering third base. For his basketball team, he plays the position of guard.

“Baseball is my favorite sport, because it constantly challenges you to learn new skills,” Noah said.

Noah is in third grade at Heritage Elementary School. “I’m also a part of the STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Math — Club,” he said.

Caleb, Noah’s older brother, is a seventh-grader at Liberty Middle School. Their father Micah works for Booz Allen Hamilton, and their mother Sara works as a teacher.

“We moved to Madison in July for my dad’s work,” Noah said.
