Insanity Complex to chill with ‘Nightmare on Skate Street’

MADISON – All respectable ghouls and ghosts will make an appearance at “Madison’s Insane Nightmare on Skate Street” on Halloween, Oct. 31, at Insanity Complex.

Insanity Complex at 100 Skate Park Drive in Madison will host the ghastly, free event for the public, especially families looking for fun, from 2 to 9 p.m. Sponsors are Insanity Complex, Regions Bank and WZYP 104.3.

Gruesome guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the complex, games and costume contests for imaginative masquerade ideas. The concessions menu will offer specials. Personalities from 104.3 WZYP will serve as emcees and give out prizes throughout the night.

The fantastic fun opens at 2 p.m. at Insanity Complex with trick-or-treating from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests can try the “Guess the Number” at reception with the winner announced at 8 p.m.

At 6 p.m., hungry ‘haints’ can enter the “Pie Eating Contest” on stage. Judges will decide on winners. The first person to eat their Halloween-themed pie will win.

The “Balloon Scramble” will start at 7 p.m. in the outdoor skateboard park bow. Contestants will pop as many balloons as possible to find a prize, including six-month skating membership at Insanity Complex.

The “Costume Contest” at 7 p.m. in the main building will have divisions for 12-year-olds and younger, along with 13-year-olds and older. The three best costumes will win prizes at 7:30 p.m.

Insanity Complex will offer frightening discounts in all-day specials from 2 to 9 p.m. In “Graveyard Golf,” guests can play 18 holes for $3 per person; six-year-olds and younger are free. “Goblin Park” will welcome skateboard daredevils all day for $5, which includes rental pads.

The “Wall of Terror” will offer a rock wall session for $6. In the “Mad House Roller Rink,” monsters can roller skate for $6, including skate rental. “Zombie Laser Tag” costs $7 for a scary session.

Any business owner who wants to participate as a vendor can contact the Insanity Complex Sales Department at 256-319-0000, ext. 1026 or email shelby@insanitycomplex.com.
