City of Madison asks for community feedback for web redesign

MADISON –  The city of Madison is revamping their website and they want to know what you would like to see on it.

City officials said Tuesday in an effort to continue improving community connectivity and communications, they have created a survey to solicit feedback on the current website: Madisonal.gov. They said the city is in the early stages of the website redesign, and the goal of the redesign is to feature a clean and contemporary layout, as well as enhance the functionality.

“We want this redesign to be an engaging and collaborative process. With this feedback, we hope to enhance our web navigation to help our community easily find the information they need and are looking for,” said Samantha Magnuson, Communications Director.

She also said Madisonal.gov serves as a 24/7 information center and the primary mode of communications between the city and residents.

“Our last website redesign was completed in 2017. Obtaining this community feedback is a vital step in the redesign process,” Madison Mayor Paul Finley said.

The survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/madisonwebsurvey, and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. The survey asks the community to give their opinions regarding usability and other ideas to keep Madisonal.gov progressing.
