‘BOOS and Beats’ at botanical garden targets adult ghouls

HUNTSVILLE – Who said Halloween is just for the kiddies? Adult party animals can howl the night away at “BOOs and Beats” at Huntsville Botanical Garden.

Botanical garden employees are calling all ghosts, ghouls and goblins for the ultimate adults-only Halloween party. Guests can get ready for a spine-tingling night of fun at BOOs and Beats on Oct. 25 from 8 to 11 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

Huntsville Botanical Garden promises a night of costumes, cocktails and crazy beats that self-respecting specters won’t want to miss. Hoping for costumes galore, organizers encourage partygoers to dress to impress (or scare) in their best Halloween costume. Garden hosts want to see the guests’ creativity – whether masquerading as a wicked witch, a spooky sprite or a charming vampire.

The party people can enjoy a variety of alcoholic beverages to keep their spirits high for all-night shenanigans. In addition to cocktails and brews, tasty treats will be served so guests can snack on delicious, bite-sized goodies that perfectly complement the libations.

A live (or maybe undead) DJ will blast a killer mix of beats to keep the dancing groove alive until late night.

“For adults-only fun, leave the kids at home and enjoy a night out with friends or that special someone. This event for anyone who’s 21 years old or older is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween in style,” according to the garden’s promotions. “For a unique experience from the costume contest to the silent disco, BOOs and Beats promises a Halloween celebration like no other.”

“The beats will keep you moving all night!” according to garden spokespersons. “Don’t miss out on the Halloween event of the year. Grab your tickets now. Let’s make this Halloween one to remember!”

Tickets for garden members cost $25. For guests who aren’t members, tickets are $35.

Huntsville Botanical Garden’s address is 4747 Bob Wallace Ave. in Huntsville. For more information, call 256-830-4447, or visit hsvbg.org.
