Warm temps through midweek then cooler, showers and thunderstorms expected each day

The U.S. National Weather Service in Huntsville says to expect the weather to be more active this week. Expect warm temperatures through midweek, with showers and storms expected each day.

Here’s your five-day outlook for the week ahead. Warm temperatures with showers and thunderstorms possible Tuesday through Thursday. A cold front passing thru Wednesday night into Thursday may bring some stronger storms, along with some cooler air to end the week.

Best chance for rain and thunderstorms will be through the day on Tuesday and Thursday morning. On Friday, cooler air moves in cutting the chance for thunderstorms but leaving a slight chance of a passing shower or two. Cooler temperatures look to continue going into next weekend.
