Work team makes all the difference

From The Publisher

I am very fortunate to have wonderful and talented people on my team.

I’m confident most who own and operate Madison businesses feel the same about their folks, too.

As I look back on 2014 at The Madison Record and Madison County Record, I am quick to realize the secret of our success has been our people.

In that spirit, I would like to recognize the efforts of Nick Sellers, Tammy Overman, Melanie McClure, Kim Maracigan, Gregg Parker, Charles Molineaux, Lindsay Vaught, Jackie Locklin, Brenda Parker, Jen Fouts-Detulleo, Jamie Dawkins, Amanda Porter, Robyn Holm and Layken Gibbs for an outstanding year.

Our writing team is comprised of Nick Sellers, Gregg Parker, Charles Molineaux, and Lindsay Vaught. This team identifies community needs and they are always looking to share your stories.

Our award-winning design team includes Jamie Dawkins, Amanda Porter, Robyn Holm and Layken Gibbs. This group does terrific work each week.

Our carriers consist of Jackie Locklin and Brenda Parker. They are quick to deliver our community news on time each week.

Our marketing consultants are the best in the business and they love to serve their customers. That team includes Melanie McClure and Kim Maracigan.

We are blessed to have one of the best photographers in Madison, Jen Fouts-Detulleo. Her amazing work can be found in our monthly lifestyle magazine, Madison Living.

Finally, we have the number one customer service representative in Madison, Tammy Overman. She takes care of all external customers and internal customers with grace.

This entire team is not only great at work, but they are great at home, too. They work hard to take care of family and friends. They are community-minded citizens who give back through their churches, clubs and charities.

These are people we all know and work with in Madison. We should never take for granted the fact our successes are very connected to the people who support us and believe in our mission each day.

I wish my team and your team all of the best success and many blessings in 2015.
