DAR, mayor proclaim Constitution Week

MADISON – The four chapters of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) in Madison County promoted Constitution Week with Madison City Council at its Aug. 24 meeting.

Mayor Troy Trulock presented proclamations for Constitution Week on Sept. 17-23 to regents of each chapter.

DAR regents accepting the documents were Stephany Wingard, Maple Hill; Constitution Week Chairman Cyndi Swinea, Maple Hill; Wilma Stone, Huntsville; Janice Jennings, Hunt’s Spring; Penny Sumner, Twickenham Towne; Constitution Week Chairman Rhonda Larkin, Hunt’s Spring; Virginia Cook, Twickenham Towne; and Martha Ann Whitt, Huntsville.
