Dickerson selected for UPS scholarship

MARION, ALA: Emily Dickerson, a Judson College junior from Madison, Ala., is one of 14 students in private institutions across Alabama who were chosen to receive United Parcel Service Scholarships. Alabama’s $34,300 in UPS Scholarships are provided by the Alabama Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and its national partner, the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC).

Dickerson, the daughter of Wayne and Rebecca Dickerson, is a 2012 graduate of Sparkman High School in Toney, Ala.

In addition to her studies for her equine science major and psychology minor, Dickerson serves as Senior Class President and competes on Judson College’s Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western Team.
