Calhoun receives SACS re-accreditation
Calhoun Community College has received official notification from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges of the school's reaffirmed accreditation. The re-accreditation status is effective through 2012. To complete the re-accreditation process, Calhoun is required to submit a follow-up report in September.
"Two or Three Things I Know For Sure" to premier at UAH
The University of Alabama in Huntsville will premier an original adaptation to Dorothy Allison's memoir Two or Three Things I Know For Sure at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. The production will be held in Roberts Recital Hall and is sponsored by the UAH Women's Studies Program. Tickets are $10, general admission, or $5 for Friends of Women's Studies and students. Advance tickets are available at None Such Gifts located at 603 Pratt Ave. from 11a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday. The show is not recommended for children under 16 as it deals with issues of domestic violence and incest.
