HS Baseball: Mustangs bury New Hope

Chris Adams blasted a grand slam to lead the No. 3 Class 3A Madison Academy Mustangs to a dominating victory over New Hope, 9-1.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning, and then Thompson King pitched five innings, giving up only four hits, to earn the win for the Mustangs.

Clayton Palick had a three-run home run, Ben Seabrook had two hits and one RBI and Spencer Palmer also had two hits for the Mustangs at the plate.

Josh Baker picked up the loss for New Hope, giving up seven hits.
