Bob Jones girls’ soccer begin playoff run with senior night shutout

Three Bob Jones High School soccer players were recently honored for their achievements.

Senior Lady Patriots Anna Dailey, Jessica Hoover, and Tori Davis were honored at a half-time ceremony as the team went on to beat Section 6 third seed, Clay-Chalkville 5-0 at Madison City Schools Stadium Wednesday, May 4.

Goals scorers were Avery Newcome, Jennna Cecil, Tori Davis, and Jessica Hoover.  Sammy Manzo, Tori Davis, Kailee Miller, and Avery Newcome all added assists.

Goal tending duties were shared by Melissa Boylen, Lauren Stile, and Cassie Russell.  The win advanced Bob Jones out of the first round of the Class 6A tournament.
