Announcement of final concrete pour at Target

Concrete pouring will soon end at the Target at the Shoppes of Madison.

Because of the elevated temperatures and nature of the pour, the Madison City Council agreed to allow the contractor to begin work in the early morning hours for six days beginning July 14 and ending July 27.

However, rain and soil conditions prevented pouring on several days. Therefore, the general contractor has been granted permission to pour Monday, Aug. 1, beginning at 5 a.m.

City officials said noise levels at the worksite will be closely monitored and measures are still in place to direct light and noise away from your homes.
