“Fail-Safe Leadership” seminar next in chamber series

A consulting executive will lead “Fail-Safe Leadership,” the next seminar in the professional development series sponsored by Madison Chamber of Commerce.

Libby Frisby, president of Integrated Solutions Consulting LLC, will conduct the seminar on April 10 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hogan Family YMCA, 130 Park Square Lane.

Participants will learn how to “align your leaders, your people and your processes to achieve your vision,” Frisby said.

Leadership challenges in today’s workplace involve “expansion of skill requirements, new channels of doing business, a new generation of employees, doing more work with few people and retaining and attracting the best talent,” Frisby said.

Even with the flat economy, “being a good leader means you can adjust to any challenges,” Frisby said. “It’s just as challenging to lead during affluent times as it is during down times.”

One common mistake is believing that a small business doesn’t need any type of strategy. “A business strategy will provide direction for their leadership strategy with company values, vision statement and objectives,” she said.

Integrated Solutions Consulting helps clients develop and manage their strategic, human capital and organizational changes. “Working with our clients, we provide personalized processes and support materials that help turn goals into reality,” Frisby said.

The consulting company helps organizations and individuals align plans and systems to gain a competitive advantage.

Frisby has more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in both high-tech and biotech companies. She has designed and developed organizations by both steering human resource organizations and providing internal consulting to other senior executives. She also is adept with line manufacturing for manufacturing and purchasing.

For more information, call Frisby at 615-469-0161 or 650-274-9249, send email to egfrisby@isconsultingllc.net or visit isconsultingllc.net and LinkedIn. The office address is 8000 Madison Blvd., Suite D.

The seminar fee for chamber members is $15 and for other guests is $25. To make a reservation, call 256.325.8317.
